Paw♔Print 1: Library
A/N: This is mostly for fun, haha! I don’t think it’ll be much of a serious story, but whatever, ne? xP

“Go up to her and ask!” A group of girls were talking amongst themselves. Nervously, a blonde-haired girl went up to the information desk.
“Uh…excuse me…d-do you…perhaps know…uh…do you know where this book is located…Hiroyuki-senpai?”
A smile and a pair of glasses caught the light of the library’s fireplace. “But of course, ma petit soeur. Come with me.” Augmentine Hiroyuki pushed back the head librarian’s chair and led the student to the fiction section.
“The story’s quite sad and a little romantic, isn’t it?”
The blonde-haired girl nodded. “Swan Lake. I’ve heard that it’s your favourite story…”
Augmentine nodded. She wondered how many times those girls stayed until closing time, and sighed inwardly.
Why does it always have to be this way? It’s…unsettling…and lately the amount of estrogen in this library is almost too much to bear.
“…but I’m quite sure you didn’t come all this way to ask me for a book, so why don’t you just tell me what you really came here for, my dear?” Crouching down low, she absently plucked a black book with a gold swan embossed on the cover.
“Does it really exist?”
She looked up at the blonde, whose eyes were skittering to and fro from the book to Augmentine’s eyes. Like she wanted to discern the truth for herself.
People like you sicken me.
“What does?” She held the black book out to the blonde. The vacant expression on the other girl’s face was enough to make the head of the literature club puke.
“…pawprint…”
